Read availability in context
An event running from 7 pm to 1 am may require more than six hours of your team's time. Include setup and teardown timings and account for travel in your organisation.
Use month, week or list views for the decision you need to make: spot a busy weekend, prepare upcoming departures or review a single day. Statuses distinguish a tentative hold from a confirmed or completed event.
Share the working calendar
- Events, expiring date holds and unavailable periods in one place.
- Check booking conflicts before confirming a service.
- ICS subscriptions for Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook.
- Venue details and timings available in the event record.
A calendar still needs a booking policy
Agree when a tentative hold becomes confirmed and when an expired hold should be released. Apply the same rule to every record so you do not sell availability that is merely assumed.
An ICS subscription is a read-only feed whose refresh interval depends on the receiving application. It is not instant two-way synchronisation. For an urgent booking decision, check the calendar directly in Gestiway.
Frequently asked questions
Can I view bookings in Google Calendar?
Yes, through an ICS feed subscription. Refresh timing depends on Google Calendar or the app you use; changes are managed in Gestiway.
Does a free date mean all equipment is available?
Not necessarily. Check allocated equipment quantities, maintenance and the availability of the people required as well.
